For over 35 years, New Direction Church has been a leader and advocate for those who are underserved, in need, and/or struggling with various social changes. Under the leadership of Dr. Kenneth Sulliva, Jr, New Direction Church is continuously striving to grow and improve itself and the people we are called to serve. As a result, in May 2022, The Nehemiah Project Community Development Corporation was established to enhance and improve the overall life for individuals and families residing in and around 46218.
MISSION
To enhance and improve the quality of life for individuals and families residing in 46218 and neighboring zip codes.
VISION
The vision of The Nehemiah Project is to create a vibrant and thriving community in 46218, where every individual and family has the opportunity to flourish, empowered by accessible resources, strengthened relationships, and a supportive environment that fosters hope, resilience, and lasting change.

By utilizing a phased approach, over the next five years, The Nehemiah Project will introduce programs and
services that will enrich the lives of 46218 residents while giving them a hand up and just a handout. Like the biblical prophet Nehemiah, in order to rebuild the community we must first rebuild its people. The Nehemiah will focus on serving adults within the pillars of Education Access, Employment Opportunities, Health Resources, and Housing Options.
